Variation 3 Red Table Wine 2018
Variation 3 Red Table Wine 2018
An artful blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Malbec, only crafted every few years, with good harvests. One of Shadow Mountain Vineyards' richest and most full-flavored wines, with dense pockets of blackberry and black cherry. A wonderfully soft yet robust wine, with a long finish. Our version of a Bordeaux Blend, the three grapes make this a fantastic wine for sipping solo, while pairing well with a complex menu.
Tasting Notes
Incredibly layered red fruits - your palate works its way through the three perfectly-blended varietals in this selective "Bordeaux Style" blend.Other Notes
On a humorous note, when you see the back label of this wine, you'll see that someone forgot to proofread the description! Not only do the percentages on the label NOT add up to 100%, but there are some ??? (yes, question marks) in the description. When the focus is on putting great wine INSIDE the bottle, sometimes what's on the label - especially the back label - is not the priority of the day! We promise to do better with future vintages...unless we deliberately decide to be funny!Awards
