The 2020 Viognier greets you with a pale yellow color, fresh citrus and green apple aromas, with flavors of lemon, lime, and pear. It has a bit of a dry, mineral core on the palate, and is overall a dry, mildly fruity wine.
Our Viognier grapevines were grafted to French Colombard rootstock in 1978.
Winemaker Notes
A great aristocratic white variety hailing from the Rhone region of southern France, pronounced Vee-oh-nyay, this grape was introduced to California in the late 20th Century, and provides a unique bouquet and flavor. This is medium-bodied, dry and fruity.Wine Profile
